Relaxing Beachside Stay
unbeatable views afternoon tea beach access optimist room
The food was AMAZING!!! I sampled both afternoon tea and a dinner. The restaurant has unbeatable views from the dining room. Our Optimist room had a door opening onto a path to the beach. We were able to sit outside looking at the sea.
The welcome wasn't super FRIENDLY. I wished there had been more choice of places to relax in the hotel.

Almost every staff member. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The housekeeping was also EXCELLENT!!! Parking was easy in the secure car park across the road. It had a keypad for entry and exit.

breakfast buffet sea view
the breakfast buffet offered pastries, croissants, fruit, yogurt, and cereals! hot breakfast options like a full english were also available. my upgraded room featured a sea view, and i felt so close to the water, the walk in shower was awesome.
the restaurant permitted both large and small dogs at night! i wished there was a separate area for dog owners.

a excellent stay!
friendly staff cosy atmosphere
i found the staff consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. the food was plentiful and delicious at both breakfast and dinner. the bar offered a cosy atmosphere with a lovely open fire.

The breakfast buffet included fresh pastries, a selection of fruits, and various cereals. A full english option was available. dinner service offered carefully cooked halibut and monkfish, both exceeding expectations. the restaurant overlooks the beach, offering a superb view.

the room featured fluffy bathrobes, slippers, and tasteful decorations that were pleasant. dog owners will find a bowl, towel, and treats were provided. the room was super clean and cozy and offered a relaxing environment .

the hotel bar is gorgeous with beach views and welcomes dogs. the breakfast and early lunch terrace enjoys the sun. the hotel has a superb position, right on the doorstep of the beach providing easy access.

bad service staff interruption
the restaurant had an amazing view of the water (i enjoyed watching the waves).
The customer service was pretty bad. it was like staff were too busy getting ready for the next season to actually care about us. I overheard them making plans and chatting. our dinner got interrupted by staff working with maintenance, it was as if we weren't even there.

broken air conditioning faulty remote
the air conditioning was broken in my room it made for a very uncomfortable night i reported it to the front desk but nothing changed the next day the television remote also didn't work it seems maintenance isn't a priority here these issues really detracted from the experience i expected more from a hotel at this price point

Mixed Experience at Beachside Hotel
unfriendly welcome dark room
The welcome I received was not particularly friendly. The hotel offers limited options for relaxation inside. My inland room was quite dark. The ambiance suffered from a lack of natural light. I noted the absence of convenient late-evening transport to town. This compounded the issue since taxis were unavailable.
